Need help with a Security Alert box please...

In the past week or so, when looking at an item in say, eBay, when I want to
check out something, I get a message on my computer (Windows XP Pro) in a
Security Alert box:

Your current security settings do not allow this file to be downloaded" . I
have looked this up and my security settings are on medium which is the
default.

How do I get rid of this message? I am the administrator and as far as I
know, nothing has changed.

You need to further explain 'when I want to check out something'.

Okay-I should have been more specific.

I use eBay a great deal and if I go to search for say "yellow piggy bank", a
page appears with several items for sale matching that description.

Then - if I simply go to look (I am not downloading anything) - that message
comes up.

And it is as simple as that. Hope I explained it a bit better!
