Need help with 2 errors Please

Hi, I have an e-machines computer with windows XP home edition.

Once I log on, I get the following message,

Microsoft visual C++ runtime library:
Runtime error
Program C:\ProgramFiles\InternetExplorer\explore.exe
R6025
Pure virtual funceion call

I then get a second error message as follows:
Internet Sheild
Run-time error '339'
Component MSCOMCT2.OCX
One of its dependencies not correctly registered, file missing or invalad

I have ran Norton Internet Security 2006 and it came back clean.
I have ran Adaware SE and it came back clean.
I have ran PC Tools Registry Repair and it came back clean.
I have gone to the microsoft site and read all of the information pertaining
to the above two problems and it does not help. (I am not a computer geniouse)

Can you please give me some advice on how to get these two problems fixed?

If you have the google toolbar, remove it and the run time error will
probably go away.
