- Need Help Sorting A File Open Directory

Hello Everyone,

I have a folder full memos whose names are the dates of the memos.
Example - Memo20031021 - Tardy Policy, where 2003 is the year, 10 is
the month, 21 is the day and Tardy Policy is the name of the memo.
When I do FILE/OPEN in MS Word, the directory is always sorted by the
oldest memo to the newest. How can I reverse the sort so that the
newest memo is the 1st one on the list? Is there a default setting in
Word that can be changed?

Thank You!

Hi Mary

If you display the files in 'Details' format, you can click on the 'Date
Modified' heading to change the sort order.
