M.A.

I have a computer in the kitchen with windows XP home and
one in a den with windows 2000 professional. I have a
wireless router in kitchen with cable modem and den has a
wireless pci adapter. Printer is connected to den
computer. Would like to be able to print from kitchen
computer to printer in den. Can my windows xp share to
windows 2000 professional printer? Can some one help me
set it up if possible. I am not very computer literate!!
Thanks

Yes XP can share printers to Win2k and Windows 9x (95,98,ME) clients as well
as make a connection to shared printers on these operating systems. Both
machines need to be in the same workgroup. You should run the Network
Sharing Wizard on XP just to get the network setup for your environment.
Check out this Microsoft knowledgebase article if you run into specific
