Need help - javascript links not responding

Running Windows XP Professional with SP2
IE version 6.

Javascript links do not respond in IE and some areas of XP such as Help and
Support Center.
System Restore opens up as a white blank page with only a blue title bar at
the top.

Could be more complicated. there is a floating problem about Vbscript,
Jscript and Flash. Run two tests for me and tell me what happens

1. Go to a Flash heavy site like http://macromedia.com and see if flash loads

2. open run dialog (start, run) enter these one at a time.
regsvr32 jscript
regsvr32 vbscript

If these dont work dont worry, i had the same problem and can walk you
through the rest later.

I found a fix on the internet.
I typed regsvr32 hhctrl.ocx in Start/Run. It appears to have worked.
