Need Help instaling Shockwave

Okay I was trying to to play a game on the internet when it said I had to
install the newest version of shockwave that says, so I click okay and it
sends me to the macromedia page where it has me click that I want to install
the latest shockwave version.

After I click on that, a page comes up on the same site that has the little
install Acdtive x controll on it, so I click on that and the i click to
install then another window pops up that asks if I want to install the
program and I click yes.

Then nothing happens, the computer does not do anything. Could anyone help me?

If nothing happens, I suggest you contact the folks who run that web site.
Perhaps they've got a problem with their installer and should know about it.
