need help finding an update

I have Outlook XP, and I am trying to update it, but one
update will not work.
"Outlook 2000 Collaboration Data Objects (CDO) Update:
Security - English version"

It is telling me:
"This machine does not have the Microsoft Outlook Security
Update installed. Please install the Outlook Email
Security Update before running the CDO 1.21 Email Security
Update." I've done a search for this update, and
everytime I try to install Outlook email security updates,
it tells me that they are already installed. I don't know
what update I am missing - there are thousands out there,
and I can't find the one that is not already on my
computer. Thanks for any help!

Why are you adding that update? It is for Outlook 2000, not Outlook 2002.

Because when trying to update Office, it is asking me for
it.

You can ignore that update. It's not appropriate for your version of Outook.
