NEED HELP FAST!!

How do I get rid of once and for all, the message that I have 2 unread mail
messages at the beginning of start up. I am running Windows XP and where you
can choose which user account and the little pictures (start screen) it shows
that I have 2 unread messages, this is on a private email that noelse in
family knows, I want this removed, they can see email accouint name if they
place cursor over the "2 unread messages" HELP!!!!!

Install Tweakui and go to Logon - Unread Mail, then uncheck 'Show unread mail on the
welcome screen'.
