Hello, I have been looking for a method to deploy printers
to end user workstations based on group/OU membership
(similar to Novell's Distributed Print Services), but
cannot seem to find a way to do this. I do not want to
install IIS and use the web based printing, just want to
simply assign/map printers automatically when a user logs
on, similar to drive mapping, except I cannot map directly
to LPT ports (several users have local printers connected
to them already).
I think I can write a VB script and add printers via a
login script, but is there a way in group policy or other,
again, similar to Novell's Distributed Print Services?
Thanks...Mike
