I am not able to get my browser to open at all.
Every time I try, I get the message that there is a
problem & would I like to send the error report. This
happens a few seconds after I try to enter Explorer 6 &
never even gets to the browser page. My email works fine
so something must have happened to my Internet Explorer
program.
I ran the Explorer repair program. It runs ok but doesn't
help at all. I uninstalled back to Explorer 5 but it
wouldn't work either. I reinstalled the upgrade to IE6 a
few times but no help. I have ran Ad-aware 6.0 & it found
nothing unusual so no help there. This started during the
day after it was working fine in the morning. I was
listening to a MusicMatch file saved on my computer & when
I went to go to a web address this problem started for no
apparent reason. The error detail reads: "Iexplore caused
an invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.dll at
o17:bff7a388."
My Windows 98SE CD is for "the purchase of a new system" &
appears it will only let me reinstall the complete Windows
operating system. This would really cause a lot of
problems trying to get things back to normal so I hope it
is not necessary.
I would really appreciate any help anybody could give me
with this problem.
