Need file activity logging program

I am looking for a (freeware) program to log all of my file access
during the day. I work on many jobs during the day and it is difficult
to remember to write down every project as I work on it. I am just
looking for a program which will log the folders and files I open and
close, and the time that I open and close them so that I can allocate
my work hours to the correct projects. Must be XP compatible. I'm not
looking for a spy program to do keystroke logging or screen captures,
or Internet logging.

I don't see any responses and I'm not aware of any apps that do what
you're requesting (there may be some - I'm no expert). FWIW some time
trackers (that work in other ways) that have been mentioned in ACF are
