need advice on email provider

At the risk of being lectured, or worse offending people, this may not
exactly belong to this newsgroup, but I am sure there are a lot of
professional here that have good experience with professional email service
providers.

can anyone point me to a good, reliable email provider that don't use high
spam volume as excuse for system hang-up and legitimate email being bounced
? we need alias to function also

another criteria is quick and easy transition to new service. . don't want
to wait a couple of days for all major DNS in the world to know the new IP
hosting the migrated Email service using existing domain name. Oh btw, we
are not planning to move our website. - too busy to deal with that and it is
still functioning as is

My boss is asking me to look for an alternative to a provider in Stamford
area that we had been using for 10 years. They were really good for the
longest time. However they have oversold the service lately and having
major problem of email from being non responsive, late delivery (one to 3
days) for some email, bounced emails addressed to alias. They are also using
spamblock based on IP. As a result legitimate email from yahoo users,
sometimes hotmail users get blocked from time to time.
