i was having conversation on internet messenger when
these came up to the other end that got cam off and he
got disconnected :S

a message came up like ---

then he got this too....

just wanna know,it was first time it happened while we're
on msn messenger,though he gets kicked off a lot,he got
dial up connection and i got cable,,does that make a
difference?

Messenger has dynamic ports which it opens and closes while video or audio
conferencing. If your firewall is not set up correctly messenger might have
tried to use ports which where being block by a firewall. Are you both
using windows xp firewall. If you are using another third party firewall
make sure you have all the appropriate ports open for running messenger.
