Ive heard they were both good. Ive got the NEC 1300a so Im a bit
biased - it burns everything and is reliable so far. Id go for a NEC
in a hearbeat but there are the Pioneer fanatics who go around
constantly saying its better than everyting out there.
The only thing is I forget the specs on the Pioneer but the NEC 1300a
had a fairly low CD writing speed and rewritable speed. I know the
Liteons had very high ones and also have a decent rep. I wouldnt mind
getting a Liteon too.
