I got Retail version of Windows XP Pro (SP1).

Problem is, that my PCMCIA NIC card doesn't get installed. It should be
NE2000 compatible, and it was working in Win95/98.

WinXP detects it as "PCMCIA Ethernet", the LED-lights on adapter goes
blinking as they normally do (Link is lit and Activity blinks when i
ping 192.168.1.255), but the WinXP itself doesn't seem to finish NE2000
driver initialization.

The adapter gets a yellow balloon and goes to "Other devices"...

Nothing seem to help with it, not even trying to scan IRQ-IOaddress
combinations..

Please, someone with even some experience with NE2000 compatible PCMCIA
Network card, contact me and tell me everything about your own solution.

Even small hints are good!!

Phew!! Got it working!

I had to install WinXP with this card inside, using:
"Generic"/"NE2000 Compatible PCMCIA Ethernet Adapter (Generic)"
IRQ7 0x300-0x31f
