navw32.exe error message

C

Cali

I don't know why when I turn on Norton AntiVirus and start to run a full
scan, the error message pops up

navw32.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x69ae62c2" referenced memory at "0x00000000".
The memory could not be "written".
Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program

Is there any solutions to this error message?
Could someone please help me out!

There are multiple possible causes for this error.

One would be that your system is infected.

To eliminate that cause, I would recommend that you do an online scan with
Microsofts scanner at

http://safety.live.com

Hit the "Full Service Scan" button.

Another possibility is this:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/812075

You chould check with Norton to see whether there are any updates for your
product.

An automated way to do this is usually:

Start, run

type "luall" without the quotes into the box, and hit enter

Hit next as appropriate to check for updates and apply them.
