I have had my site up for over two years without a problem. For the past
month I can't get the navigation bar to work. It shows up on my local site
but not the remote. If I play with it I might get the bar to show but it
won't show the graphic bars. Just the names and the names are not clickable.
My site is useless without it. I am about to throw it out the window. I have
Windows XP Professional SP2. I have Frontpage 2003 (checked for updates). I
have done the following to try to fix the issue.

1. Deleted default.htm and republished it
2. renamed default.htm to index.htm
3, renamed index.htm to default.htm
4. deleted the navigation bar and published my site then installed
navigation bar and published site.
5. Recalculated links on remote site
6. Recalculated links on local site.
7. Used search feature in windows to look for all instances of default.htm
to see if there is a duplicate. None found.
8. Used search feature in windows to look for all instances of left.htm to
see if there is a duplicate. None found.
9. Added text to left.htm and published to see if it would force the update.
The change will appear but the navigation bar won't show.
10. Contacted the company that is hosting my site and they are lost on
fixing issue. (they did work hard at trying to fix it so I can't complain on
them)

The site is http://www.upgradenrepair.com any help will be greatly
appreciated. Thanks in advance.

remove the base href tag from all pages
<base href="http://www.upgradenrepair.com">
Open the online site in FP and run a Tools Recalculate Hyperlinks to see if your shared borders are refreshed

I know I am beginning to be a pest but I am bouncing from one issue to
another. The procedure Stefan suggested fixed my navigation structure and my
site was up and running great for about a week. Then my logo on top left of
my site disappeared and the title was offset including the picture of the
pug. It was listed on my local site on my hard drive however. I tried
deleting the base again like Stefan suggested before but unable to locate it
on the site anymore. I thought if I deleted top.htm it would reinstall it.
Now the entire top is gone. I replaced it with the one on my local site but
still no go. I deleted default.htm on the web and recalculated hyperlinks
then uploaded my site. Now everything is gone except for the main part. I
have no hyperlinks, navigation or the top. My site is
http://www.upgradenrepair.com. Thank you in advance for your help on this.

Your left shared border nav bar is missing
Make sure your home page in Nav view is the correct file name for your host server and has your pages under it
Run a Tools recalculate hyperlinks and then publish your web again
If that doesn't work try opening your online site in FP and running a Tools recalculate hyperlinks
