Navigation problem again

1. Deleted default.htm and republished it
2. renamed default.htm to index.htm
3, renamed index.htm to default.htm
4. deleted the navigation bar and published my site then installed
navigation bar and published site.
5. Recalculated links on remote site
6. Recalculated links on local site.
7. Used search feature in windows to look for all instances of default.htm
to see if there is a duplicate. None found.
8. Used search feature in windows to look for all instances of left.htm to
see if there is a duplicate. None found.
9. Added text to left.htm and published to see if it would force the update.
The change will appear but the navigation bar won't show.
10. Contacted the company that is hosting my site and they are lost on
fixing issue. (they did work hard at trying to fix it so I can't complain on
them)

I then did the following suggestion…

remove the base href tag from all pages
<base href="http://www.upgradenrepair.com">
Open the online site in FP and run a Tools Recalculate Hyperlinks to see if
your shared borders are refreshed

That worked. Then about a week later I had a problem with my site and got
that issue taken care of but this problem of the navigation is back. I tried
to remove the base href tag but it is not found now.

The site is http://www.upgradenrepair.com any help will be greatly
appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I looked at the site and I'm not sure what the problem is.
It all looked / worked / seemed fine to me.

Thank you for the reply. Everything looks great on the site except my
navigation bar on the left hand side is missing. I have a navigation bar that
is vertical on the left. I have had this site up for over 2 years without any
issues but lately I am.
