Navigation Bars

First of all, I would like to tell you guys is that with my correspondence
with you previously has prompted me to be tutored in frontpage. I did
frontpage beforehand on my own the best I could because I really needed to
get my website up. I had looked all over the internet for some lessons and
it was after I was in the discussion group that I finally came across the
help in frontpage that I was looking for. The way I was doing it was the
long way around and I couldn't understand half of what the frontpage was
about. Frontpage is easier and faster now and I just love the way it works!
I haven't published it yet because I am still working on it. Now, my
question is, what does this mean: not included in navigation bars. I have
many folders and there are two folders that are not included in navigation
bars (?). These 2 folders are grey and the rest of them are yellow. Now, I
can click, "included in navigation bars" to change the grey folders to
yellow, but I won't understand what I am doing. Could you please explain
this to me?

If in navigation view a page (the boxes are pages, not folders) is
marked as "not included in navigation bars", the page will not show as a
link in any navigation bar. This will be all the grey coloured pages.
The pages coloured yellow will be shown in navigation bars.

Okay, what is a navigation bar? This might sound like a stupid question. I
could guess what a navigation bar is but I don't want to do that. I want to
be positive about what it is.

Open you home page and just use Insert Nav bar to see it
- you can always use undo or not save the page

Are navigation bars and link bars the same thing? Every time I "insert"
"navigation" it takes me to the link bars. To explain myself better....now
that you know more of what my problem is...why are my files grey when they
act the same way as the files that are yellow? All of the yellow and grey
files are the children of the catalog index.

Link Bars and Navigation Bars are the same thing.
If you are using the FrontPage navigation (or Link) bars, Grey files
will not have a button or link, whereas Yellow files will have a link
in the navigation bars.
