Check under the nav bar properties that the nav. bar should show -
example, if the bar is set to show child pages, no links will show
unless the page has any child pages.
In your case (Home page plus 5 pages under home) the best set up
would
probably be "Child pages under home" plus tick the Home page check
box.

Hi Tom,
Thank you for responding. The navigation view already shows, in
this
case,
the home page and 5 pages underneath (since posting this question
I
have
added 2 more pages for the link bar) but I still have the same
message
instead of the link bars. In other words, the link bars did not
show
up after
going to the navigation view and adding the 2 pages. (I have more
pages but
do not want them to appear on the link bar for all of the pages).
Any other
suggestions?
Thanks,
Kay
:
go to view.... navigation and drag your links to screen one at a
time...
when you go back your bars will be set up.
Best to you.....

I am having a problem getting the navigation bar set up. When I
went to
INSERT - NAVIGATION... instead of the navigation bars
appearing
on the
page,
the following appears where I want the nav bars:
[Add this page to the Navigation view to display hyperlinks
here]
Any thoughts about what I am doing wrong? I am using FrontPage
2002 (OS is
Windows 2000).
Thanks,
Kay
