Navigation bar not working to find one page

I have one orphaned page that I cannot recall with the navigation bar. All
other pages respond. The properties of the page are correct. When ctrl/click
is used in the editor page, the target page appears. When the editor is
active, "HTTP 404 Page not found" appears. When viewed in the browser mode,
again the error page. Using the back arrow will return the screen to an
active page. The properties of the page in question when viewed in Browser is
"res://C:\WINDOWS\system32\shdoclc.dll/http_404.htm#http://...."

What is the page name and extension? Some extensions can be edited in
FrontPage, but will always give a 404 error when served to a browser,
due to no mime type set on the server for the page extension.

The page name is "Faces and Places", and the full property of the page is
"http://CombatTracker/southerntierne/facesandplaces.htm". This is also the
hyperlink property of the navigation bar.
The website is not on the web yet, but in design. Thank you for the help.

Your links should be relative links (to facesandplaces.htm) not absolute URL links

Your PC is named CombatTracker?
Try
http://localhost/southerntierne/facesandplaces.htm , which should be
the same page.

If hyperlink properties are showing the link as
http://CombatTracker/southerntierne/facesandplaces.htm
then you may have problems when you do publish - properties should be
showing a relative link, such as
facesandplaces.htm, not an absolute link with the http:// etc.

Not sure what you mean by "root host file". How are you opening the
web in FrontPage. Please give exact location that you use.
It will help to see the page that links to facesandplaces.htm - please
post the entire code here if the page is small, otherwise a snippet
including the link and a few lines on either side, taken from FP Code
view.
