Navigation bar causes pages to open in new window

I have pages opening a new browser window randomly. I have removed all
instances of " base target = " in borders and all other pages. When looking
at a published pages source code I will see navigation bar links including
the parameter target="_top" How can I eliminate that? using FP2000

Target = _top will load the page in the current open browser window. If you have misspelled target
value, then that will cause the link to open in a new window.

Do a search/fine in FP (Html code) for

target=

and then check each link.

I have gone through the entire site looking for offenses. Currently the home
page opens every link in a new page. After that the site behaves as expected,
even if I go back to the index page and click on any of those links. The
site is at www.aystesting.com. Fortunately this is not posted on the
customers server yet. Any suggestions?

target="_blank" is what you need to look for. That is what is opening new
windows.

I have not seen that the home page opens every link in a new page. Just
some.
