Hi all. Thats for all the help to date, I'm still quite new, but want to learn

Here are my questions..

1. I have created Hypelinks to large pictures from thumbnails, and hyperlinks to interior web pages. However, to make these links run, I have to hold the "CTRL" Button down and then click. Is this normal for FP? Why can't I just click on the hyperlink? It does work as a hyperlink, but only if I hold "CTRL" down

2. I set my web with a theme, and created a Table for Hyperlink buttons as a "navigation bar" However, the hyperlinks are only words. How do I make them buttions. They dont' have to be custom buttons, just something already in FP? Thanks again... Chri

Chris,

Q#1:

You will get that when working in NORMAL mode (look down at the bottom of FP you will see: Normal, HTML, Preview.

Normal is your normal design mode.
HTML is to view and edit the HTML
Preview gives you a fairly good preview but the links may not work there either.

If you are working on local copy (not online)...the best way to view a page is to first SAVE your page then click (in FP) on the top toolbar you'll see: Preview In Browser (its a button on my setup)...that will open your Browser and view the local copy of the page...the LINKS will work here.

Q#2:

Right click on the Nav. links and select Link Bar Properties...go to Style, choose which one you want...use page theme, style (whatever)...
Not sure if I can answer this without knowing exactly how you have your navs set up. You may see Horizontal or Vertical somewhere you need to choose which one you want. But I think your problem is in the Style selection make sure you are using the right style...usually the Use Page's Theme is the one you want and somewhere down the list you will see the bare bones text type links. Sounds like you may have one of those selected.

HTH...

Rob

Chris -

Have you added the page to your Navigation view? Once you do, those words will be replaced by the navigation
bar in the format you've chosen.

HTH,
Craig
