Buttons and hyperlinks

I'm just starting to use FrontPage....I want to make active buttons and
hyperlink them with powerpoint and word, but during preview, it does nothing.
If I right click and click on follow HyperLink, then it will open it up. But
during preview, it does nothing...Please help
