NAV LiveUpdate in windows 2000

Hi,
i have windows 2000 and Norton AV 2003 in my computer. I
want to give permission to restricted users of win2000 in
order to allow the live update to run. It gives me a
message that only Power users or administrator can use
live update.
Can anyone help please?!!

Hi,

I do not know NAV, however, I believe that as explainned in the error
message, only power users and administrators can use live update.
I do not think that there is a workaround : that would be a security hole.
Maybe you should ask the question to norton to be sure.

Kind of makes it worthless to only have admins be able to update AV sigs.
What we do around here is use the "Set Program Access and Defaults" tool to
allow more groups to use live update.
