NAV & LINIK BAR

Am a new user using frontpage for a charity website www.blindgolfer.com. I
have the naviagation set up ok on my website, but we want to add a sub-page
to 3 of the main pages - one under 2007 Event (a registration form) and one
under a new page RAFFLE for rules & regs. However, even though the sub page
shows on the navigation, it does not show on the LINK BAR under 2007 event.
What do I need to do?

um I think you need to throw that lot out and start again .. presumably your
target audience is blind or they have limited sight.... they won't see much
of that very well.

Firstly you need to make a template that meets standards .. so don't use any
bots.

as the designer you will be liable for meeting the accessibility laws for a
charity site especially given the content....

Throw the nav bots, the theme and the shared borders.. fix your css and put
alt attributes on your graphics .. first simple rule of accessibility...

I'd use frontpage includes and make text links .. I'd use css for the menu
with a unordered list.

and it's a professional site - get - rid - of - the - hit - counter and use
the domain to set up a email addy for yourself as webmaster... it does not
create a good impression using a Aohell account addy.

are you a volunteer doing this?

Yes. I am a volunteer - we all are. Our target audience is the public
at-large and not necessarily visually impaired. Our old website was one page
looooonnnnggg--about 10 pages if you printed it! After talking to others, I
opted on FRONTPAGE to create this first upgrade to our site in over 5 years.
And still working through the bugs. More than likely in 2009 this site will
be handed over to a pro that I have worked alongside that develops
professional sites for charities - we just dont have the extra funds ,since
we give 80% of earnings to the charity. For the last 8-10 year that was less
than $1,000. For this last event (May 2006), almost $30,000. So we will
budget better. Some of our board members are blind, but have readers with no
complaints on the current set-up, but do know to broaden we have to make
adjustments.
Thanks for your response and I will work on your input. Some of your
suggestions I will have to figure out how to do. ie. webaddy for e-mail. But
will work on it.
