Nav Bar External Link - New Window

Confussed

I have created a web with MS Front Page 2000.
It has a thyeme, shared borders, and a Nav Bar on the left
side of all pages.
One of the links is to an external site. I have tried all
common methods, and reviewed all the help, and support
docs I can find, but am unable to make this link open in
a "new window".
I have a couple of other links to external sites within
the page(s) content and can modify them to open in "New
Windows". How can I do the same with the one in the Nav
Bar????

You can not set a frame target value when using FP navigation components.

Yah but you can add a lonely ole regular button in the shared border with hyperlink to other page...or course it wouldn't be based on nav structure...that would work wouldn't it? Pretty sure I've done something like that before.

Yes, that is correct or grab a blank theme button and then add text to it in a image application,
etc.
