NAV 2004 and SP2

My NAV 2004 comes up with an X over the icon on the task
bar. This is because I went to MSFT security and allowed
it to monitor the NAV (I clicked on Recommendations).
How I do I unclick the choice that I want the operating
system to handle security? There doesn't seem to be a
way back in to change it. I even uninstalled NAV and
installed it again.
The thing that most worries me is that I don't know if
NAV is working or not - scanning the mail for viruses,
getting the updates or what??
Any help would be much appreciated.

1. Click the "option'"button in Nav 2004 and in the new window Click "default
all".

this should work, if not

2. You need get all the latest updates( which includes an update that would
make Nav 2004 compatible with SP2) from symantec by manually clicking "LIve
update " button.

Mary.
Norton will re-release the needed patch soon:
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPOR...213?OpenDocument&tpre=&csm=no&src=con_web_nam

This only affects the ability of the Security Center to monitor the
status of Norton AV.
Norton AV is still fully functional.

If you double click the icon, then click "Change the way...", you can
make selections accordingly.
Once Symantec has released the appropriate update, you can go back and
reset so the Security is again monitoring NAV.
