Native Mode DC

I'm running a W2K SP4 server as a DC and I also have another W2K SP4 server that's my BDC. My domain is running in mixed-mode and I would like to change it to native-mode so that I can "see" the domain-local groups from my W2K member servers. I know that I cannot change it back and that any NT based BDC will not be able to replicate. My question is will this change deny a NT4 based PC from logging into my domain

The switch to native mode ONLY affects replication with NT 4.0 BDCs in the
same domain.

It has no affect on clients.
