Nasty Hack..?

S

Scott Davis

C'mon, folks, can anyone shed a ray of hope on this for me..?

Public Folder with Contacts, made Address Book and Favourite. (Outlook
2003 with SBS2003) Assigned "first" checked in the Address book search
order.

Click the big "Contacts" button in OL2k3 and that PF-Contacts still
takes second seat.

There's *GOT* to be some way to fool Outlook into presenting the
PF-Contacts before the users' contacts. Nasty registry manipulations?

Anything? Anything?

I swear, I have like 200 end-users looking for this across a dozen
clients!

Help, Help, Help, Help, Help, Help, Help, Help, Help, Help, please?

It's been like 12 months -- when is MS going to address this? It's
getting silly!

best, Y'all,
-- Scott.

are you searching them first or displaying them first?

address book's tools, options menu - top menu to display them first.

when you view thedefault contacts folder in outlook's folder tree the local
contacts will always be opened by default - you can only change the order in
the address book.
