I have a file with multiple worksheets. In one of the sheets, I named a cell
"Company." In another sheet, I tried to give a cell the same name. But it
seems you can have two cells in different worksheets with the same name. Is
there any way to do that?

It sounds like you are talking about MS Excel - this group is for Access.

Sorry. This is a newsgroup dedicated to questions about Access, the
database program in Office Professional. It appears your question may not
be related to these subjects. The Microsoft help system is not all that
clear and may have misdirected you here.

It is best to ask your questions in a newsgroup dedicated to the
subject of your question. You should find people better able to address
your problem there.

Note: It is always best to indicate the name and version of any
program(s) you may be using when asking a question and also indicate the
operating system (like Windows XP or 98) when you ask a question.

Yes you can have the same name for named Ranges in different Worksheets.

To refer to a named Range on a different Worksheet, you need to included the
Worksheet name in the reference.

Check Excel Help on the Worksheet reference and if you can't work it out,
re-post to one of the appropriate newsgroups for Excel.
