Hi,

A friend is running WinXPPro and just discovered a folder on her desktop
that has no name. If you try to open it, nothing happens. If you right
click it, you get:

Cut
Create Shortcut
Delete

If you try to delete it, you get:

"Are you sure you want to delete these icons from your desktop? To
restore it later, go to your control panel."

Using the detail view in Windows Explorer, the folder still has no name,
but the type is "System". All views are enabled, but there's just no
additional information than what I've stated above.

I've googled, and looked at Kellys-Korner, but I can't find anyting about
this. There is a similar, yet unanswered, question at:

http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/win2000/t1086290430

Any ideas?

Sincerely,
Bruce
