Name of standard template or toolbar file?

In Word, the standard template which saves toolbar info is
normal.dot. In Excel, the toolbar file is separate,
Excel.xlb.

How do we save the standard template in PowerPoint and
does it contain the toolbar info or is this file
separate? If separate, what is it called pls?

Thanks!

There isn't one for PowerPoint. We have been fighting for one and might see
one in a future version. But for now, you need to create your toolbars and
features in a PowerPoint Add-in (PPA) and set it up to load automatically
when PowerPoint opens.

What Bill said.

PPT stores customizations to toolbars and menus in a file with a .PCB
extension, and deleting this file will get you back to your PowerPoint
defaults, but I don't think MS intends us to use .PCB files as a way of trading
customizations with others.

Hello,

If none of the suggestions provided give you the functionality that you
were looking for or, if you (or anyone else reading this message) have
suggestions for how and why you think PowerPoint should provide this
functionality (or make it easier), don't forget to send your feedback (in
YOUR OWN WORDS, please) to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions).
