mydoom?

using outlook 2002, I think I triggered the my doom virus
because the viewing pane was open. Now outlook keeps
playing up, send/receive keeps coming up with an unknown
error message and apparently sending/receiving when it is
not doing anything.

I'm still receiving normal mail.

I've checked the system both for ctfmon.dll and scanned
with McAfee but it says I am clean.

You can't trigger mydoom by simply previewing the message. You have to open
the attachment (and if it's a zip file, double click the exe orother
attachment contained within).

What is the error message you're receiving?

If you want to double check your system, go to www.trend.com and look for
