My Windows Display is alll messed up...

Well, here is how the story goes:
I was playing a downloadable game, and you know how if sometimes you
minimize it, or it accidentally minimizes itself, everything looks bigger on
your desktop? Like all the start button, everything. Well, the program wasn't
responding, so I pressed ctrl+alt+delete, and went onto the task manager to
end the program. Well, usually, when I end a program, the desktop and
everything will go back to normal. Well, it didn't. Everything is HUGE. I
have tried-

-Gone onto the control panel and modifying just about everything. Text size,
screen resolution...everything.
-Playing the game again, to see if it would switch back
-Restarting my computer
-Simply relogging into my account
Please help, or give more suggestions to what might help. I can't even see
everything on my start menu because it's so big! :( I have to manually select
some programs from my document files :( Thanks again.

You actually slid the screen resolution over and that didn't help?

Maybe System Restore would revert to a date when the screen resolution
was correct. But normally, it just restores system files, and I guess a
few other things..

Yeah....

How do you do a system restore? And number 2, when I switch my resolution to
like, the highest it will go. (There's 2 of them for me) Then, everything is
a million times smaller, but better. When I switch it back to the default,
what, like 800 something times something else, lol, it'll just go back to
humungous. It's freaky. Thanks for trying to help though...erm, Elmo. :D

I switched it to the highest screen resolution... Everything is tiny, but I
can see everything on my start menu, etc. Tons better. When I switch back to
the default, what is it? Like 800 times something else? Anywho, when I switch
back to that, it'll make everything HUGE again. Eh, I guess I'll just keep it
back to this. Unless...you could tell me how to do a system restore? I have a
laptop. (Dell) Thanks :)

Click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, the last item in
the list is System Restore.
