My videos won't let me jump into them unless I am asleep

How do I fix this? I want to jump into my Windows videos when I am awake,
but I keep bumping my head into the monitor?

Any help would be appreciated.

At any rate, the Intel commercials are still the stupidest they have come up
with in a long time...right on par with the acid-trip inspired ipod
commercials.
