My Video folder freezes

Please help..recently whenever i go to my video folder or my 2nd hard drive
or my external hard drive the window freezes and following appearsr.watson
postmortem debugger has encountered a problem and needs to close...i can
supply the more information such as all 9..p1-p9 descriptions ..the event
type listed says BEX...please help ,I have major work in all 3 areas where
problem occurs.I can open all programs and all other folders with no
problem.Thanks

Can you post the Event log information in detail (click the clipboard button

Perhaps the appcompat.txt might reveal the module name causing the problem.
Most likely this is caused by third-party multimedia codecs, which can view
(and disable selectively for troubleshooting purposes) using MMView.

Thank you so much.I downloaded the mmview and disabled 3 suspect codecs from
unknown companies and all seems ok now.I even transferred 6 gb of video to
external hard drive.I have now created a restore point just in case.Once
