When I post a to a question to a newsgroup using windows mail, my question
appears in red

That is caused by a setting in tools>options>advanced tab>'Message Threads'
section.
 
AFTER SENDING A MESSAGE, WHEN IT IS READ, THE "READ MESSAGE" IS REPEATED TWICE
