my toolbar dissapeared

I really need help. And I would be gracious if anybody could help me out. My toolbar above where I see websites dissapeared and I dont know how to get it back. Where you type in we adresses, the favorites button, the back and fowards button all of it is gone. And when I put my arrouw up there and it changes to the pull down arrow. I cant seem to pull it down. ny idea how I can fix it?

Under IE> View> Toolbars, Address Bar is checked, right?
Try...
Right-click on your toolbar and in the pop-up menu
uncheck Lock the Toolbars, If the other items in the pop-
up menu are unchecked, check them. If they are checked,
grab the "handles" on the other toolbars and move them
around up & down as well as sideways. The address bar
should appear. You can then put everything where you
want and lock the toolbar again by right clicking and
checking Lock the Toolbar. If you ever want to move, add
ect. just unlock it again.

The problem is though I dont even have the View and files and edit buttons up on to. There's nothing there but the words Microsoft Internet Explorer in blue. Is their anyway I can get to those things?

I am having the same problem, all of my toolbars, address
bars and stuff are gone. I tried the ie toolbar fix that
you suggested but it didn't work. maybe i didn't do it
right?

Are you in full screen mode? Try the F11 key.

Have you tried F11?

Close all instances of Internet Explorer except one
Right-click on the top Toolbar, uncheck: "Lock the Toolbars"
Place the cursor over the "Address" button and click (hold down)
It will change to a 4-way arrow, move or expand the Address Bar to desired
location
Right-click on the top Toolbar, check: "Lock the Toolbars"
Hold down the Ctrl key and close Internet Explorer.


Confirm these default Registry entries exist:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
"Show_ToolBar"="yes"
"Show_URLinStatusBar"="yes"
"Show_URLToolBar"="yes"


In Internet Explorer Menu: Tools/Internet Options/Advanced tab
Scroll down half way to:
Search from the address bar...
When searching.... select a mode.
Click Apply.
