MY tab key no longer works.

I think I have a setting off on my keyboard. When I hit the Tab key, the
computer switches to the next open window on my screen. How to I get the Tab
key to function properly again?
 
It sounds as if you are sending an Alt+Tab. Have you tried a different
keyboard? Do you have any keyboard mapping software to change the function
of the keys?
