My spell check correction box does not appear anymore.

My 5 yr old got on the computer and obviously changed the Office Word
settings. I need to find out how to restore the original settings. My spell
check box for making corrections does not appear on the screen anymore and
the tool bar is changed in appearence.

You of course, have checked the drop down Tool menu?

Yes, but I can't seem to undo what has happened. The whole tool bar has
change.

You probably won't be able to undo.

Have you looked at the Toolbar Options button==>Add/Remove Buttons?

Open the Tools > Customize dialog. On the Toolbars tab, select the
toolbar concerned (probably either Standard or Formatting), and click
the Reset button.
