I need to know if there is anyway to restore the My Picture file on my system.
My son was dumping a picture I had of him,& ended up dumping the hole
file.(Aint He Cute)....
I know the pictures are gone,But I like to use pictures for my Screen Saver.

1st, check the Recycle Bin. If the files are still there, restore them.

If the files are not in Recycle Bin, use 3rd party software to recover the
files:

There are freeware apps that can undelete files. This one works well

Speaking about data recovery tools, I recommend Active@ Undelete or
Uneraser, thay are really powerful and never failed me before. It's
restore algorithm is really great, as they never corrupt restored data.
