My Pictures Slideshow Screensaver

I am trying to put together a custom slideshow and have created a folder with
the relevant pictures. However, I DO NOT have "My Pictures Screensaver"
option available to be able to choose this screensaver.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

+Open your folder.
+Right click a blank space and choose "Customize this folder"
+From the scroll down menu, choose Pictures
+Click OK

Hello,

Navigate to the C:\Windows\System32 folder on your machine and verify that
the ssmypics.scr file exists there. If it doesnt, post back and I will
outline the method to extract the file from a Windows XP installation CD.

Thank you for your reply. I don't have the file on my system32 folder.
Please let me know how to extract it from winxp cd.

Hello,

Insert your Windows XP CD/DVD in the CD/DVD ROM drive in your computer. If
autoplay starts a "Welcome to Windows" windows, close that. Click on Start /
Run and type in cmd.exe and hit enter. Once the command prompt opens up,
type the following command and hit enter.

expand X:\i386\ssmypics.sc_ c:\windows\system32\ssmypics.scr

Replace X with the drive letter of your CD/DVD ROM drive. Also, this command
assumes that Windows is installed on the C drive. If not, replace that as
well accordingly.
