Slideshow screensaver never stops

This is so basic that I'm embarrassed to ask. I recently had to perform a
system recovery on my computer. One problem that I'm having since then is
that my screensaver, which is a slideshow of my pictures, never stops.
Before the recovery the slideshow would play for a while and then the screen
would turn black. I'd like to be able to have this happen, but can't figure
out how to do so. Can anyone help me?

Rightclick open area center of screen>Properties>ScreenSaver tab>
Power button>use down arrow on the Turn off monitor line and choose from
1 minute to 5 hours>Apply>OK
