Mike

I was a bonehead and accidentally deleted the "My Pictures" folder. I tried
to make another, but now I no longer have the custom icon. Is there any
fix? Please? Can I have some money?

Mike,

Click Start, click Run, and then type the following command:

rundll32 mydocs.dll,PerUserInit

"My Pictures" and "My Music" folders are displayed with the standard folder icon:

Thanks Ramesh. I owe you big

Is there a way to fix it in the start menu? It's just showing a regular
folder there also.

Tell Bill that I said to make you heir to the throne ;)

You're most welcome Mike. See if a reboot fixes the My Pictures icon in the Start Menu. If not change the Classic Start Menu, and then revert back to XP Style.
