My Pictures and My Music missing

Hi,

I pointed my My Pictures and My Music folders to a different folder.
The folders in My Documents didn't display the contents of the folders
I pointed to, so I decided to remove them. Now I want to recreate these
folders, pointing to the correct folders on a hard disk different from
the one where Documents and Settings is stored. How can I manage this?

In other words: you can map a folder to a drive letter (good old
"subst"), but now I want to map a folder to a folder.

Thank you,
Bram

Create a special "Folder Shortcut" by opening the start menu folder (right-click Start button ->
Open), along with the folder containing the folder you want a shortcut to. Right-click & drag the
folder to the start menu folder, & when you release the button, choose "create shortcut here."

If you view the properties for this shortcut, you will see it only has one tab & describes itself as
"Folder." You can then cut & move this shortcut to wherever you like and it will behave like a
"real" folder in Open/Save dialogs.
