"Don't work" is a little short on descriptive text but.....

Perhaps Tools>Options>Transition unchecking "Transition navigation keys" may
help get them working again.

I have a laptop but a full size keyboard puts Page Up and Down
on numeric keypad, make sure the you don't have num lock on.

Look on the status bar to see if you have anything turned on or have
the Num Lock light turned on the keyboard.

Please tell us what the solution is when you find it.

Did you reprogram any keys, or turn on any kind of accessibility option.

I tried Scroll Lock and Transition navigation keys on my and
that didn't change the function of those keys that I noticed.

TNK checked does nothing to change the behaviour of the page up and page down
keys on my setup either.

Not sure what I was looking at when I posted that as a potential fix.

It seems the page up, page down keys do not work with word, excel or
notpad - not with any program -

It is a laptop - I have made sure the Fn key is off -

TIA - Paul

Hi Paul,
Sounds like we're getting closer. I guess any program includes
your browser as well, since most of what you indicated was
MS Office except notepad.

On my laptop the Page Up and Page Dn buttons have Fn
functions of Increase and Decrease Volume. Click on the
speaker taskbar icon and then see if those buttons work in
their Fn mode. If they have a different function test whatever
it is.

A test to see if it is hardware would be to attach a keyboard to your
laptop and see if these keys and the other keys work on the auxiliary
keyboard.

If is the laptop keyboard only, pop off the key covers over those keys
and take out the hair and crud. . Vacuum over the entire keyboard
before popping the key covers back on. For a laptop lift up the mechanism
then carefully place the cover centered over the key straight down until
it pops on doesn't take much pressure.
