My Newtork Places - Incorrect Display

Greetings:

I have two laptops, running Windows XP Pro SP2 on a wireless LAN, but they
each display incorrectly at My Network Places:

The access point does not display on either laptop. I think it should
appear under Local Newtork on both laptops.

Laptop A shows its shared folders under Local Network (correct)
Laptop A shows B's shared folders under The Internet (not correct)

Laptop B shows its shared folders under The Internet (not correct)
Laptop B shows A's shared folders under The Internet (not correct)

How do I get the "not corrects" fixed?

Internet Explorer -> Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Local Intranet
-> Sites -> (Uncheck) "Automatically detect intranet network" -> (Check the
other three selections if they are not already checked) -> OK -> OK

Talk about counter-intuitive .... Go figure!!

The update to My Network Places was immediate.

I solved part of my own problem (actually stumbled upon it), but still need
help with getting the LAN access point to display. Any thoughts?

Regards,
