My Network Places

I'm trying to gain access to a remote web computer. I'm
using "My Network Places" option. I have been provided
the http address, username and password. I have used the
http format example provided. I get to the window for the
username and password and after it's entry the same
window returns without any error message. However, the
username now contains part of the http address along with
the username and the password field is blank. There is no
apparent error and no attempt to connect. I have called
the location and verfied all the http info and they say I
have the correct info.

Now what!
