my network password

we have a small workgroup. when i try to add a printer
or even just view my docs from another pc i am prompted
for a network password to view my pc. I have no idea
what password. I have changed my user password. But
that is not the password it needs. I have tried all
possible passwords and even no password. Please help!
Also when i tried to "manage network passwords" It shows
all my emails and .net passwords accounts to manage??
what is that all about??

If your computer is XP HOME I might have the answer, if it is XP PRO this
will not work.

Simply, Enable the Guest user account and make sure it is not password
protected.
You must have administrative privileges.
